Before the session

The first thing we do together is a free of charge pre shoot consultation so you can look at our work and discuss what style of images you would like us to achieve for you. The more we know about you, your likes, and your desires the better we can achieve beautiful photographs that will be cherished forever!

At the session

Wear clothing that suits the style of images you would like. We recommend smart casual clothing for most photos. Don’t wear clothing with stripes, loud colours, crazy patterns or big logos! For shoots on a white background strong colours can work well, but light pastel colours are usually best. For black & white shoots neutral tones or black clothing produce great results. Group shots are best when everyone has similar style and colour clothing. think about at least one change of clothes for variety, and your children could need extra clothing in case they get dirty. They might even like to have some shots in their favourite dress up outfit – we’ve photographed super heroes, lions and princesses to name a few!

After the session

There is now a wide range of options when it comes to best presenting your photographs. From framed prints to story book albums to contemporary canvas prints we discuss all the presentation options with you after the portrait shoot at the time you make your choice of images.
